Notifications¶
Aipress24 keeps you informed of the activity that concerns you through two complementary channels: the bell (in-app notifications) and email. Most events trigger both.
The bell¶
The bell icon in the header shows a badge with the number of unread notifications. Clicking it shows your most recent notifications (unread first), each with a short text and its timestamp.
- Clicking a notification marks it as read and takes you to the relevant page.
- “Tout marquer comme lu” (Mark all as read) sets all your notifications to “read”.
What triggers a notification¶
Here are the main events that notify you:
Marketplace
- An application is received on one of your offers.
- Your application was selected or not retained.
Newsroom
- A topic is pitched to you (editor-in-chief).
- Your topic was accepted or rejected.
Enquiry notices
- An enquiry notice is sent to you (or forwarded by a peer).
- A meeting proposal is made to you.
- An expert accepted or declined a meeting.
Publications and purchases
- You are notified of a publication in which you are quoted.
- A proof of publication concerns you.
- A member gifts you an article to read.
- You have acquired the reproduction rights to an article.
Business Wall
- You are invited to a role or a partnership on a Business Wall.
- A press-relations partnership has ended.
- You are invited to join an organisation.
Bell and email¶
Most of these events reach you both in the bell and by email — a failure on one channel does not prevent the other. Important invitations and requests are thus delivered even when you are not logged in.
